When you think of a Thanksgiving cocktail your mind automatically goes towards bourbon, apples, and cranberry. All are great fall flavors but the most overlooked fall flavor is pears! Bosc pears are in season from fall through winter and are perfect for gin or vodka based drinks!
My goal with this cocktail was to create a drink perfect for before or during Thanksgiving dinner. Something light, floral, and sweet. Pear was my inspiration for this drink and pairs wonderfully with gin, especially Hendricks Gin! I added a touch of elderflower and plum to round out the flavors and some fresh lemon juice to lighten it up. Always, always, ALWAYS use fresh lemon juice! Fresh is best!
Serve this cocktail at Thanksgiving and impress all your friends and family!
