Cranberry Sleigh Ride | Holiday Cocktails

Christmas is next week and I still have a couple of fun posts to share before the big day gets here! Today I’m really excited to share my recipe for a cocktail I’m calling the Cranberry Sleigh Ride. This cocktail is part of the Sidecar family. Even though a Sidecar is usually served up in a coupe glass, I really wanted to use these fun glasses I found at Home Goods for the holidays and I made these super cute and fun drink stirrers that I thought would be perfect for a Christmas inspired drink!

The Cranberry Sleigh Ride features bourbon as its base spirit and Grand Marnier as a flavored liqueur that reminds you of a classic Sidecar. I used fresh lemon juice for some freshness and acidity and I add the cranberry flavor with my spiced cranberry simple syrup and a few dashes of cranberry bitters! Bitters make everything a little bit better! Like I mentioned before, you can definitely serve this drink up with either a lemon twist or fresh cranberries as a garnish but I was excited to give this drink a festive touch with my wreath drink stirrers! Make this drink for your friends and family over the holidays and enjoy!
