It’s mid-October and it’s finally starting to feel like Fall! While I do enjoy pumpkin flavored everything during this time of year, I’m all about apple cider! It doesn’t matter if it’s candles, doughnuts, or cocktails, if it’s apple cider, I’m all about it! So with it officially being Fall, I had to create an apple cider cocktail that you could sip around the bonfire.
What pairs perfectly with apple cider? Bourbon! This fall cocktail pairs Bulleit bourbon with apple cider, Cointreau, lemon juice, and angostura bitters to create a drink that reminds you of both an old fashioned and a sidecar!
Ingredients:
2oz Apple Cider
1oz Bulleit Bourbon
1/2oz Cointreau
1/2oz Fresh Lemon Juice
3 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Combine ingredients in shake and fill with ice. Shake until cold and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange twist. Enjoy responsibly!
